Hi Everyone!

A few weeks ago, my friend Daniela (the one who gave me the famously delicious Italian Apple Cake recipe…see post) invited us to a delicious pizzeria ristorante called “Oro del Etna”. She had been telling us about it, so we decided to make the journey to Catania. It’s found at the base of Mt. Etna in Catania, Sicily. Oh my goodness…..you will never eat a pizza so exotic and delicious in all of Italy (…and I’ve had a lot of pizza’s all over Italy!) First off, the portion is huge! You can’t eat the whole thing. And the pizza creations are incredible….of course all baked in a wood oven. We went to dinner early (….by Italian standards as Italians eat very late in comparison to Americans) at around 7:30pm and the ristorante was already starting to fill up.

So if ever visiting Catania in Sicily, be sure to stop by this pizzeria ristorante…you won’t be disappointed!
