Nutella lovers, here comes another recipe! And it takes less than 5 minutes to make =)
If your grocery story doesn’t carry puff pastry sticks, for sure your nearest Italian specialty store will. Puff pastry sticks, called “sfogliatine” (pronounced sfo-lee-ah-tee-neh) are great for breakfast, but everything tastes better with Nutella, wouldn’t you say? =) So here we go!
Ingredients: (serves 2-4)
-8 pieces of Sfogliatine (puff pastry sticks)
-Nutella
-1\4 cup crushed hazelnuts
Directions:
Flip the sticks so they are smooth side up and spread some Nutella on 4 sticks. Then sprinkle the crushed hazelnuts.
Spread Nutella on the other remaining 4 sticks, and place over the ones with the nuts to form a sandwich.
Simply delicious!
These are great for breakfast, dessert, coffee\tea guests, snacks, etc!
Buon Appetito!

That looks good! But everytime I see a package of sfogliatine at my store, it already has a sugary glaze with some sort of sticky toffee. When you bought yours, were they just plain puff pastry sticks?
Hi Suzanne! Hmmm…mine are usually glazed with a bit of sugar on top, but that’s it….no toffee =) The glaze you see is sugar…there should be nothing else. I’d say buy a package and eat a couple of them to see if they would work with the recipe!
