Calling all garlic lovers! It doesn’t get any easier or more delicious than this! My mom’s recipe for garlic mayo that’s so simple, you can do it in two minutes flat. I grew up on this, and no matter how much I used\use regular mayonnaise, it was and still is, never as good as my mom’s garlic mayo!
All you need is 2 medium sized cloves of crushed garlic…. don’t add more or else you may kill people!…..and 1 cup of mayonnaise (I like to use Kraft, even here in Italy…..as I find it less sweeter than the other brands). If you find the ratio too potent or not potent enough, adjust the mayo and\or garlic to your liking.
Just mix the two together and…….here are some ways you can use it =)
-Use it as a spread on hamburgers
-Use it as a spread on sandwiches (My favorite way!)
-Use it as a marinade when grilling meat on the BBQ or stove top (Yummy!)
-Use it as a dressing when making a salad
-Lightly coat vegetables before roasting in the oven (My mom has used this method on the BBQ and it was so delicious!)
…..and the beautiful thing is that this recipe can stay in a closed glass container for about 1 month!
